George Van Tassel, was the creator of the Integratron. He was an aeronautical engineer and test pilot who worked for Lockheed, Douglas Aircraft and alongside Howard Hughes at Hughes Aviation.
In August 1953 Van Tassel claimed to have had an actual encounter with extra-terrestrials who gave him the technique for rejuvenating living cell tissues. In 1954 he and his family began building a structure for 18 years they called The Integratron to perform the rejuvenation.
According to Van Tassel, there are powerful geo-magnetic forces running through the Integratron's location. There is also a large aquifer underground. These elements combined with large concentrations of quartz, gold, copper and granite result in a powerful vortex of energy. The Integratron is the only perfect acoustic dome made from wood in the United States.
